Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you ship?

At this time, we only ship to the United States.

How do you ship?

We will use USPS Priority Mail or UPS to ship your package. You will receive an email with tracking information once your package has shipped. Please allow 2-3 business days to process your order and prepare it for shipment.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, USPS shipments have experienced significant delays, which are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience during this time. Your shipment is important. Please know that we and our shippers are working hard to get your package to you as quickly as possible.

How do you ship during warm weather months?

We want you to receive your Amos and Annie’s products in perfect condition. During the warm weather months, we will limit shipping days to Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. This is to reduce the possibility that your shipment sets in a postal facility or trailer over a weekend.

Additionally, if your order contains marshmallows, we will pack your shipment with frozen gel packs to keep the mallows comfy during their journey to you.

Please follow your tracking and make arrangements to take your package inside after delivery so it doesn’t set outside in the warm weather.

How should I store my Amos and Annie’s products?

Amos and Annie’s products should be stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place after the package has been opened.

Marshmallows are best consumed within 3-4 weeks of receiving when they are at their freshest. They may still be consumed after that, but the outside texture may change slightly.

If your marshmallows won’t be consumed within 3-4 weeks, we recommend placing them in the freezer. Yes, the freezer! Simply place the mallows in an airtight container in your freezer. We prefer containers with tight-fitting lids rather than freezer bags. When you are ready to eat your mallows, remove the desired number from the freezer container, place in another covered container, and set on a countertop. In an hour or two they will be back to their normal squishy selves.

Do you use high fructose corn syrup?

No. We never use high fructose corn syrup. We use only 100% non-GMO corn syrup in products containing corn syrup.

Do Amos and Annie’s products contain preservatives or artificial dyes?

No. We never use preservatives or artificial dyes. Some of our products contain natural dyes, which are indicated in the ingredient list on the product page.

Are your products vegetarian?

Our caramel popcorn and gluten-free graham crackers are vegetarian.

Our marshmallows contain gelatin derived from pork and are not vegetarian.

Are your products vegan?

No. Our products contain butter and/or gelatin and are not vegan.

Are your marshmallows kosher?

At this time our marshmallows contain pork-derived gelatin and are not kosher.

Are your products dairy-free?

Most of our products contain butter. Our Peppermint Marshmallows and Chocolate Peppermint Marshmallows are dairy-free. If you would like other marshmallow flavors without dairy, please contact us to discuss a custom order.

Why aren’t the marshmallows exactly the same size?

We cut our marshmallows by hand to approximately 1.25″ x 1.25″. Because we are human and not a machine, there will likely be slight variations from marshmallow to marshmallow.

Can I toast Amos and Annie’s marshmallows?

Yes! Amos and Annie’s marshmallows are delicious toasted.

We recommend using a two-pronged fork for stability. Please know that our handmade marshmallows are softer than store-bought marshmallows and will melt faster.

If toasting over an open flame on a gas stove, we recommend medium heat.

Whether toasting over a campfire or a gas stove, turning the marshmallow frequently will produce the best results.

I received a coupon code after placing my order. Can you apply it now?

We would love to issue a credit, but it is just not possible. We offer promotions and discounts from time to time, so stay tuned for another opportunity.
